It was here, a previous ex-government residence adjoined to its northern neighbour once stood. With various alteration concepts providing costly improvements, it was agreed a fresh start and separation from the adjoining neighbour would become a more cost effective option.
With living spaces and bedrooms basking in northern sunlight, this project takes advantage of what potential a fresh start on an old block can have.
Northern sunlight and cross ventilation are key to the layout of this home. There are strong indoor/outdoor connections, creating interesting corners and spaces while providing entertainment areas with privacy.
Parents and children have separated private spaces to maintain family life flexibility.
The combination of all these factors have led to a very successful project, but more importantly, a much loved family home.
